Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Patient Liaison to ensure an exceptional patient experience across its clinics in Chicago. You will act as a resource for patients and staff, advocate for patient needs, and help optimize the use of practice resources and scheduling.

You will work closely with providers and billing to resolve issues, educate patients, and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, vendors, and the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years healthcare experience required.
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manages schedules to optimize resources including providers, rooms and equipment.
• Registers patients and coordinates appointment scheduling.
• Provides patient education materials as needed.
• Coordinates with clinical staff to ensure patient compliance with treatment plans.
• Assists with data collection and analysis related to productivity and resource utilization.
