Job summary

Bridgeview Eye Partners is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, schedule visits, and handle billing and insurance interactions. The role serves as the liaison among patients, providers, and the Central Billing department, ensuring smooth operations in a professional medical office.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be customer-focused, and participate in a company-paid certification program to support growth.

Qualifications

• Prior office experience is beneficial, but not required.
• We offer a comprehensive training program.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, assist in patient communications and recalls.
• Respond to billing inquiries and policy questions.
• Prepare patient chart prior to appointment and complete upon patient arrival.
• Process patients through checkout by verifying charts, posting payments, filing clean claims, and entering data into the EHR.
• Perform end-of-day tasks including balancing cash drawer and submitting reports.
• Monitor patient flow and communicate delays.
• Maintain a safe and clean office environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the office manager and doctors.
