The Ambassador will greet guests, answer inquiries, assist with directions and wheelchairs, and help ensure smooth information desk operations across lobbies and patient areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or health-related field.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, win-win negotiations, medical terminology, diversity training and hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide information about patient location, condition, and treatment progress while maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicate between patient, family and hospital staff.
• Advocate by expediting admission and resolving delays.
• Resolve problems and escalate when necessary.
• Greet visitors, give directions, escort patients and assist with wheelchairs as needed.
• Answer multi-line phone and route calls to the correct location.
• Oversee information desks and lobbies to maintain cleanliness and order.
