Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine LLC in Colorado is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the friendly first impression of our clinic. You will handle patient check-ins, appointments, insurance verification, and respond to inquiries with professionalism.

This non-exempt role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred), CPR/AED, and a willingness to work in a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Athena Medical Records is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere.
• Manage patient check-ins/outs and collect accurate information and payments.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries about appointments and services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate EMR records, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Assist patients with forms, verify insurance, and handle co-pays as needed.
• Communicate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointments.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, and ordering supplies.
• Provide a positive patient experience and address concerns as they arise.
