Job summary

Valeris is hiring for a patient services role focused on coordinating care and benefits for patients within a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will build relationships, explain coverage options, and help patients navigate programs to improve adherence and satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and the ability to multitask while following established SOPs. Some travel and flexibility to cover 8.5-hour shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Customer service and healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work an 8.5-hour shift between 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with patients by proactive communication and service excellence.
• Ensure interactions comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
• Explain benefits, coverage options and costs to patients clearly.
• Conduct program welcome calls and educate patients about available services.
• Assist with benefit investigations and communicate payer requirements to patients and providers.
• Document patient enrollment and maintain accurate records in the Lynk system.
• Support adherence services through coordination of nurse follow-up as applicable.
