Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous healthcare experience in scheduling, office admin, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and appointment scheduling systems (EHR experience a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional interaction with patients and providers.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Uphold standards of Project Health, Inc.
• Maintain HIPAA with confidentiality at all times.
• Appointment Scheduling
• Manage patient appointment scheduling, ensuring appointments are made accurately and timely.
• Confirm appointments and contact patients with reminders for appointment, minimizing no-show rates.
• Reschedule appointments and handle cancellations while maintaining efficient clinic operations.
• Coordinate with leadership and other healthcare staff to ensure proper scheduling.
• Data Management
• Accurately input and update patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Maintain and track appointment records to ensure all patient encounters are documented.
• Other job duties as appropriate and assigned by supervisor.
