Job summary

Terrebonne General Health System is seeking a Part-Time Patient Dining Associate to support patient meal service, menu selections, tray delivery, and dietary accommodations. The role requires collaboration with Nursing to fulfill nutrition requirements and ensure physician orders are correctly followed.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, stocking nourishments, and providing after-hours support while delivering professional, compassionate service to patients to uphold satisfaction

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One-year experience in the restaurant industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient meal service including menu selection, tray delivery/pickup, and special dietary needs.
• Communicate patient food concerns to Food & Nutrition Services and coordinate with Nursing on nutrition requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of physician-ordered diets and adherence to dietary restrictions.
• Maintain kitchen inventory and stock nourishments; support after-hours needs.
