Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to provide patient meal service, tray assembly and delivery for the Food & Nutrition Department. The role involves dietary communication with nursing, recording intake and maintaining galley stock in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with shifts from 6:30am to 3:00pm and some evenings, benefits eligible. Prior healthcare experience is not required and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No Experience required.
• Healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meals to assigned areas, documents meals and calorie intake and rounds on patients in accordance to department expectations.
• Assembles meal trays and menus in accordance to guidelines.
• Communicates patient diets, delivery of meals and special requests with patient care team.
• Maintains an organized and stocked galley.
