Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing staff to meet nutritional needs.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on strict diets.
