Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Oxford, MS seeks a PART TIME PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) to join our hospital dining team. You will support patient meal service, help patients with menu selections, and ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.

Previous food service experience is preferred; training is provided. The role offers flexible days, a patient-focused environment, and opportunities to contribute to nutritional care in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing for dietary requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to menus; retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean work stations.
