Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, or restrictions.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies for safety and confidentiality.
• Support dietitians with patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in policies.
