Job summary

Full-time and part-time schedules are available; rotating weekends may be required. Training provided; pay ranges from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on time.
