Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver/push food delivery carts.

Responsabilités

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences; accommodate patient requests.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals per patient selections; retrieve trays from rooms at scheduled times.
• Complies with federal, state, and local regulations and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food, cleaning stations, and breaking down tray line.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets and calorie counts as needed.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
