Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at our Port Saint Lucie, FL facility. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and support the caregiving team while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position requires willingness to train, typical shifts include three 13-hour days and one 6-hour day, with a 6:00 am–7:00 pm window.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and deliver on time.
• Manage tray tickets and retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and health regulations, keeping work areas clean.
• Communicate concerns to appropriate staff promptly and follow department procedures.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
