Morrison Healthcare is hiring for Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL. Full-time and part-time positions with a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Schedule varies; prior hospitality experience preferred.

Primary duties include patient menu assistance, tray assembly, and order accuracy to ensure nutrition and safety. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff and a supportive team focused on patient care and community

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills required.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to patient selections and timing.
• Comply with regulatory standards, HIPAA, and confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets or calorie counts.
• Communicate issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
