Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a Patient Services Lead to coordinate patient meal service and special requests within the Patient Dining Program. You will ensure staff readiness, correct tray assembly, and timely service, fostering a culture of comfort and care in a healthcare setting.

Lead and train Patient Dining Associates, collaborate with nursing and culinary teams, and manage menu options for dietary restrictions and preferences while adhering to HIPAA and safety

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and reading skills for safety rules, procedure manuals, and operations instructions.
• Aptitude for operating hospital ADT system and other computer-based systems.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient dining services and ensure adherence to program objectives.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates, assist with menu selections and tray delivery/pick-up.
• Coordinate menu options for allergies, dietary needs, and cultural preferences.
• Monitor daily patient meal selections, tray completion, and delivery/retrieval processes.
• Support dietitians; assist in monitoring patients on restricted diets or calorie counts.
• Ensure HIPAA and sanitation compliance; follow HACCP guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports and conduct team meetings per guidelines.
