Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a Patient Dining Services Lead in Dayton, OH for a full-time role with a 10:00 am–8:00 pm schedule and three weekend commitments. The position pays $18.00 per hour and requires prior management experience.

Work involves coordinating patient meals, training staff, and collaborating with the culinary and nursing teams. Applicants must support HIPAA guidelines, ensure safety standards, and provide compassionate patient service in a healthcare

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions.
• Aptitude for effectively operating hospital’s ADT system, and other computer-based systems that manage patient care records.
• The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes to ensure the Patient Dining Program objectives are met.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and help patients with menu selections, assembly, and tray delivery/pick-up.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Interact with nursing and evaluate daily patient meal selection, tray completion, delivery and retrieval.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets.
• Adhere to HIPAA and facility confidentiality policies.
• Comply with HACCP and health/sanitation regulations.
• Conduct daily team meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
