Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Charlotte, NC is hiring for a full-time Patient Services Lead to coordinate patient meal service and meal requests. The role oversees training and staffing within the Patient Dining Program and ensures compassionate service in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include supervising dining associates, coordinating menu options for allergies and preferences, and communicating with nursing staff to optimize tray delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to read safety rules and operation manuals.
• Aptitude for operating hospital ADT and computer systems.
• Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds and pushing carts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processes to achieve the Patient Dining Program objectives.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates; assist with menu selections and tray delivery.
• Coordinate with caregivers and culinary team on meals for allergies and preferences.
• Interact with nursing; evaluate daily meal selection, tray completion, delivery and retrieval.
• Remain responsive to patient needs; report issues promptly.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring special diets and calorie counts.
• Comply with HIPAA, regulations, HACCP, and sanitation procedures.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports; lead GR8 Start meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
