Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Services Lead for the Charleston, SC area. This full-time role oversees patient dining operations, staff coordination, and coordination of meal service and special requests.

The position requires 1 year of related experience, with both AM and PM shifts and rotating weekends. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and collaboration with the culinary and nursing teams in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions.
• Aptitude for effectively operating hospital’s ADT system and other computer-based systems.
• The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes to meet program objectives.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and assist with menu selections and tray delivery.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team on menu alternatives for allergies and cultural preferences.
• Interact with nursing to evaluate daily meal selections and tray processes.
• Communicate problems to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets or calorie counts.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Comply with HACCP and health/sanitation regulations.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
• Conduct daily associate meetings per GR8 Start guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
