Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL is seeking a Food Service Associate to guide patients through meal ordering and deliver trays per diet guidelines. You will verify patient identities, ensure accuracy, and resolve foodservice concerns with a focus on excellent patient experience.

The role requires active patient rounds, fast pace adaptability, and working up to 12-hour shifts. High school diploma preferred; health safety certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English
• Ability to communicate with customers professionally and efficiently
• Ability to handle customer interactions promptly and politely
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use common software applications and hardware (e.g., iPad, ToughBook)
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets (preferred)
• Ability to effectively multi-task (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through meal ordering using a computerized system and align selections with diets
• Verify patient identifiers during meal delivery and ensure tray accuracy
• Round on patients and nursing staff to resolve foodservice concerns
• Assemble and deliver trays per therapeutic diet guidelines
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work environment; assist on long shifts
