Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL, is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to guide patients through meal ordering, verify identifiers, and ensure trays meet therapeutic diet guidelines. You will round on patients and nursing staff, address concerns, and deliver meals with care while maintaining a clean, compliant environment. Shifts may include up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities include verifying patient info, using a diet office system, and ensuring excellent patient experience across units.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv preferred.
• English communication required.
• Ability to handle customer interactions professionally.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through meal ordering using a computerized system, ensuring diet alignment and personalized suggestions.
• Verify patient identifiers during meal delivery, confirm tray accuracy, and ensure needs are met before leaving the room.
• Round on patients and nursing staff to address foodservice concerns and perform service recovery.
• Assemble and deliver trays per therapeutic diet guidelines and maintain timely service across all areas.
• Perform physical duties including long walking, standing, and 12-hour shifts while upholding cleanliness and compliance.
