Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a part-time Room Service Host to coordinate patient meals, communicate with patients, families, and staff, and manage meal orders in the CBORD Room Service system. Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for clear communication.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred; basic math and computer skills.
• At least 1 year of food service or customer service experience; CBORD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients, nursing and family members when obtaining meal choices and entering orders into CBORD.
• Ensure timely delivery of meals, snacks and tube feeding products and maintain clean, sanitary work areas.
• Enter and update meal selections, preferences and special requests in the CBORD system and communicate patient diet orders to staff.
