Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year related experience preferred or completion of Hostess Training Program and Exams.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to make appropriate daily menu selections.
• Prepare, assemble and deliver patient meal trays.
• Communicate patient concerns with the clinical dietitian.
• Process daily menu labels, diet changes, transfers, discharges and new admissions.
• Maintain supplies of menus, forms and pantry items.
• Answer phones and relay messages accurately.
