Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in the Knoxville area is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aides) for full-time and part-time roles. The team helps patients with menu selections, delivers meals, and supports nutrition goals with attention to timing and temperature.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing on nutrition needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team on menu options for allergies and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow regulatory standards and HIPAA policies for patient confidentiality.
• HACCP guidelines followed for food handling and sanitation.
• Adhere to facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on liquid diets or calorie counts.
• Report issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Complete required daily/weekly/monthly reports per policy.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
