Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) in Maryville, TN. Both full-time and part-time roles are available on various shifts, with weekend rotations. Candidates should have related experience or willingness to train, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, or dietary needs.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selections in a timely and accurate manner and retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality policies and maintain patient rights.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patient diets as required.
