Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a full-time position at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. The role supports patient meal service, menu selection assistance, and tray delivery with a focus on accuracy and patient satisfaction.

The position offers 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week, weekends included, and opportunities to train while earning a $15.00–$18.00 per hour wage.

Qualificações

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsabilidades

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences; accommodate cultural, ethnic and religious needs.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays from patient rooms on schedule.
• Complies with federal, state and JCAHO standards and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintain clean work stations.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on liquid diets or specific calorie counts.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined by Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
