Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) for a full-time role at Atrium Mercy in Charlotte, NC. You will assist on patient trays, help with menu selections, and ensure meals meet dietary requirements in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The position offers a full-time schedule with weekend rotation, and hourly pay from $18.50 to $22.50 with benefits for full-time staff. English fluency and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet dietary requirements.
• Assemble and deliver meals according to patient menu selections in a timely and accurate manner.
• Retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times and maintain HACCP guidelines.
