Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) at Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway, AR. This full-time role serves patients on assigned units, helping with menu selections and delivering meals with accuracy and care.

You will work with the culinary team, monitor dietary requirements, and ensure safety and HIPAA compliance. The position requires at least one year of customer service in healthcare or restaurant settings and the ability to lift

Qualifications

At least one year of customer service experience in healthcare or restaurant settings.
Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver/push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

Help patients understand menu selections and collaborate with nursing for dietary compliance.
Determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences; respect cultural, ethnic and religious needs.
Assemble meals according to patient orders and retrieve trays on schedule.
Comply with federal, state, and JCAHO standards; maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
Assist dietitians and monitor patients on special diets or calories.
Communicate concerns to appropriate staff and complete routine reports.
Adhere to department sanitation and health regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
