Qualifications

• Read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutrition compliance.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays according to patient selections.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitary work areas.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on restricted diets.
• Complete required daily/weekly/monthly reports per policy.
