Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Comply with federal, state and facility policies including HIPAA and HACCP guidelines.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Record daily, weekly or monthly reports per Morrison policies.
