Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at AH Heart of Florida in Davenport, FL. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and on-time service to support patient care.

The role offers training, a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour, and opportunities to work on assigned units within a healthcare facility.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure their orders comply with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, dietary restrictions, or cultural preferences.
Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitation of work stations and tray line.
Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in Morrison Healthcare policies and procedures.
