Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a part-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) at AH Heart of Florida, Davenport, FL 33837. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver trays, and help ensure meals meet nutrition and timing requirements. The fixed pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Schedule varies by day and hours; online applications are accepted only. Willingness to train is required.

Qualifications

Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

Assist patients understand menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
Coordinate with caregivers and kitchen to offer menu options for allergies, preferences, and cultural needs.
Assemble meals per patient menu and retrieve trays on schedule.
Follow federal/state/JCAHO standards and HIPAA/privacy policies.
Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain clean work stations.
Follow infection control policies and procedures.
Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
Communicate issues with patients to proper personnel promptly.
Complete required daily/weekly/monthly reports per policies.
Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
