Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) at UF Health Flagler Hospital in Saint Augustine, FL. Roles include full-time and part-time, with flexible 6:00 am–8:00 pm shifts and some weekends. Pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour and training is provided.

You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and collaborate with dietary staff to meet nutritional needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with HIPAA, confidentiality and facility policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on liquid or calorie-restricted diets.
• Communicate issues to appropriate staff and complete required reports.
• Adhere to health, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
