Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) in Gainesville, FL. You will help patients choose meals, assemble and deliver trays, and support dietary services in a hospital setting.

The role requires hospitality experience, quick learning, and teamwork to meet nutrition and safety standards. Pay range is $15.00–$18.00 per hour, with full-time benefits and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection; retrieve trays on time.
• Complies with federal, state, and local regulations and HIPAA policies.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning stations.
