Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) to support on-unit dining services, menu selections, and meal delivery for patients.

You will collaborate with nursing and culinary teams to ensure meals meet nutritional requirements, follow safety and HIPAA guidelines, and maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness. The fixed pay rate is $22.82 per hour, with mornings and afternoons available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural, ethnic or religious preferences or additional selections.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow regulatory standards and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and sanitation procedures.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on specific diets.
• Report problems or concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and perform other duties.
