Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate to support meals on the hospital unit. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver trays, and help ensure meal timing and accuracy in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role is part-time with evening shifts at UM St Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD, offering meaningful work, supportive team environment, and opportunities to contribute to patient care and nutritional well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic math skills for menu and tray handling.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu and deliver trays on time.
• Follow HACCP and sanitation guidelines; protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Assist dietitians and communicate issues to appropriate staff.
