Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Raleigh, NC is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) to join a healthcare team. Roles include assisting patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring safety and accuracy in service.

Position offers full-time and part-time schedules, with rotating weekends and holidays. Prior food service and customer service experience required; pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience and shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and timely.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies throughout food handling and service.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as outlined by policies.
