Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) in Baton Rouge, LA. Full-time, 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends; online applications accepted only. Prior customer service experience required, with a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure their orders comply with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or cultural/religious preferences; accommodate additional selections.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection; retrieve trays on time.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
