Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates to work on assigned units in a healthcare facility, helping patients with menu selections and delivering meals.

The role requires hospitality or customer service experience; shifts include some weekends and holidays with varied times, and pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour. Full-time and part-time openings are available at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe in Warrensville Heights, OH.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet dietary requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and dietary needs, including cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu and retrieve trays on time.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, HIPAA policies, and facility confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling, cleaning work stations, and breaking down tray lines.
• Assist dietitians by monitoring patients on restricted or specific diets and communicating issues promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Adhere to infection control and sanitation procedures.
