Job summary

Urology Clinics of North Texas is seeking a Patient Coordinator to welcome patients, check them in, and support the front desk team. You will open the office, prepare paperwork, and manage demographics, insurance verification, and data entry.

You will collect co-pays, balances, and assist with checkout while ensuring the lobby remains tidy and inviting for patients throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must have interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must have basic computer skills and EMR/PM/Scheduling understanding.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in for appointments.
• Open the office each morning and prepare paperwork.
• Scan and upload patient insurance cards and IDs to the chart.
• Collect co-pays and balances before the physician visit.
• Print charge tickets and ensure billing data are accurate.
• Assist with check-out duties and lobby maintenance.
• Maintain lobby appearance with magazines and reset at day end.
