Job summary

Urology Clinics of North Texas is seeking a Patient Coordinator to greet patients at check-in and support the front desk team. The role includes preparing forms, scanning documents, collecting payments, and assisting with check-out while maintaining a tidy lobby and positive patient relations.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and familiarity with EMR/PM systems to support efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Must have interpersonal and verbal/written communication to interact with patients and staff.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical office methods and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Opens the office each morning, unlocks doors, turns on lights, prepares paperwork.
• Prepares AUA’s, New Patient, PQRI, and Medical History forms.
• Scans insurance cards and driver's licenses into patient charts.
• Collects co-payments, balances, and large amounts before patient seen by physician.
• Directs patient questions or issues to Front Desk Supervisor/Office Administrator.
• Prints charge tickets for the next day and ensures billing data accuracy.
• Assists with check‑out duties when necessary.
• Maintains lobby appearance with magazines; keeps space tidy.
