Job summary

Now Optics, doing business as Stanton Optical Brand, is seeking a Doctor’s Technician for our on-site store location. You will provide outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and ensure smooth collaboration between retail and clinical services.

You will greet patients, perform basic pre-tests, and help with eyewear assembly and fitting while upholding brand standards and patient satisfaction. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and timely delivery of eyewear.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or advanced certification beyond high school.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport, and showing empathy with patients.
• Problem solving and proactive approach to address concerns.
• Collaborative spirit with team and patients while staying respectful.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and identify needs to ensure a positive, memorable experience and promote available products/services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and clinical services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history; perform basic pre-tests.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and update on job status.
• Maintain brand standards and perform light housekeeping when needed.
• Assist with lens edging and assembly to ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and alert management as needed.
• Track delivery times to patients to meet 100% of promised timelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
