Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the friendly first touchpoint in our on-site store. You’ll provide outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and bridge the retail and clinical services teams to deliver a smooth patient experience.

With 2+ years in customer service and an associate degree or higher, you’ll greet patients, perform pre-tests, collect medical history, and help ensure accurate orders and timely delivery while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• You have an associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• You have 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• You have the skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• You implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with the patients.
• You remain proactive and execute problem solving skills to address potential patients’ concerns or rebuttals.
• You have a collaborative spirit, while building respectful and cordial relationships with your team and patients.
• You are driven by results and have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• You have a passion for customer satisfaction and maintain a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and facilitate sales while identifying needs.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule appointments and record patient history; perform pre-tests and basic eye assessments.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.
• Maintain brand standards and perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assemble lenses, edge stock lenses, and ensure timely delivery of eyeglasses.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and notify management of problems.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure 100% compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
