Starling Physicians seeks a patient services representative to greet visitors, manage registration, and deliver outstanding front-desk service across satellite offices as needed. You will collect payments, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate patient records in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has high school diploma, excellent customer service, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of medical office terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Maintain efficient patient flow through registration and front desk tasks.
• Answer calls, route messages, and maintain professional etiquette.
• Inform patients of delays and assist with comfort during wait times.
• Process self-pay charges, collect payments, and reconcile receipts.
• Open/close batches and reconcile daily collections.
• Scan insurance cards and verify coverage in the system.
• Schedule appointments per guidelines and manage waitlists.
• Enter orders for tests and procedures per workflows.
• Coordinate pre-authorizations with care resources.
• Complete referrals and update patient records.
• Communicate issues to supervisor promptly.
• Perform general clerical duties as needed.
