Job summary

The Eye Center - Tulsa is seeking a Patient Services staff member to ensure exceptional patient care, accurate scheduling, and smooth front-office operations in Bixby, OK. You will verify patient and exam data, handle billing inquiries, and enter information into the EHR with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing calls, processing payments, and balancing cash at day-end. Prior experience in medical offices and familiarity with coding/billing are preferred.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of health science, math, and Microsoft Office.
• Medical office experience and knowledge in medical coding/billing is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and manage busy phone lines for scheduling.
• Verify chart documentation and insurance information; assist with billing and payments.
• Enter data into the EHR and balance day-end tasks with accuracy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Support workflow with referrals, reporting, and interoffice communication.
