Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced front desk role. You will greet patients, manage appointments, verify benefits, and maintain accurate patient records to support smooth clinic operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, multitasking abilities, and experience in medical office settings. Spanish bilingual skills are preferred; compensation reflects hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Physical Therapy environment, medical office, or hospitality background with a strong emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based front desk setting.
• Strong communication and data-entry accuracy are required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors, in person or on the phone, answering inquiries or referring them as needed.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and optimize provider time and room utilization.
• Complete insurance verifications and benefit verifications; obtain authorizations.
• Maintain patient records and confidential information; ensure accuracy of data entry.
• Keep appointments on schedule by notifying providers of arrivals and delays.
• Maintain patient accounts and processing of charges; manage third-party claims when applicable.
