Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a friendly registrar to greet and register patients, collect and enter demographic information, and coordinate with insurance carriers for referrals. The role emphasizes privacy, accuracy, and excellent customer service in a busy medical office.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of registrar or similar experience in a medical office.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Ability to use computerized systems.
• Must be detail-oriented and accurate.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of different insurance carriers is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients in a prompt and pleasant manner.
• Instruct patients to complete registration, history and HIPAA forms.
• Request updates from established patients.
• Collect and enter all insurance referrals.
• Enter all demographic information and off-bill comments into billing system.
• Call insurance carriers and patients for follow-up information to complete registration.
• Explain referral and payment processes to patients as needed.
• Notify other departments of patient arrival.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments for patients.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
