Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a dedicated Front Desk/Patient Services Associate to join our growing network. You will greet patients, manage check-ins/outs, verify insurance details, and guide them to the right department for care.

You’ll work with ModMed EHR and Microsoft Office tools in a fast-paced clinical setting. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills are essential as you educate patients on coverage options and collect payments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records systems; ModMed a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and direct them to appropriate departments when necessary.
• Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Collect and verify patient insurance details, confirm eligibility and process any co-pays and payments at time of service.
• Educate patients on insurance benefits, including in-network vs. out-of-network coverage.
• Ensure that necessary forms are completed and on file (i.e. Insurance forms, referrals, authorizations and/or waivers).
• Submit daily payment collection reports and manage record requests with Medical Records.
