Orthopedic Centers of Colorado is seeking a Patient Advocate to ensure compliant clinic operations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and fraud prevention. You will greet patients, collect insurance and demographic information, and verify registrations to support smooth visits.

In this role you will work with clinical staff via Microsoft Teams, handle pre-registration tasks, process copays and self-pay fees, and maintain a professional, patient-centered front desk. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Skills in operating business office machines (phones, computers)
• Skills in answering the telephone in a professional manner.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees and the public.

Responsabilités

• Acknowledge, greet and register patients.
• Verify information, collect insurance and demographic data, and signatures.
• Collect copays and self-pay fees.
• Phreesia appointment validations; cancellations/reschedules.
• Ensure completed pre-registration on all patients.
• Maintain a clean, organized waiting area and workspace.
• Communicate with clinical staff via Microsoft Teams.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ensure accuracy and accountability for designated tasks.
• Work independently as well as with others.
