Eyetastic Services, LLC is seeking a Patient Communication Coordinator to join its Patient Experience team. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, handling calls, scheduling, and referrals with empathy and professionalism.

You will manage appointments across multiple locations, coordinate providers, and document outcomes in the EHR. The position emphasizes privacy, accuracy, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and empathetically, routing or elevating calls as needed.
• Provide accurate information about services and appointment processes.
• Schedule patient appointments using EHR and scheduling tools.
• Coordinate schedules across providers and locations to optimize clinic flow.
• Manage changes, cancellations, and reschedules efficiently.
• Support referral calls by communicating key information to referring offices.
• Place reminder calls/messages and document call outcomes in systems.
• Identify recurring issues and report them to leadership.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and patient concerns with a proactive mindset.
• Uphold patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
